Hotel Nutibara - Hotel Medellín - Colombia

Opened in 1945, this behemoth of a hotel in the downtown area was built at a time when the Centro was the height of fashion and security. Things have changed somewhat, but the Nutibara still maintains high standards. With 137 rooms, it is the largest hotel of its type in this part of Medellín. Each conventionally furnished room comes with cable TV, mini-bar, private bathroom and air conditioning. It is not a bad choice if you’ve got the cash and need to be in this part of town.
