Transportation
The city of Medellín may still be paying for the metro system built in 1995, but it is dazzlingly new, easy to use and gets you just about everywhere. For $0.70 a fare you are able to reach 25 stations on lines A and B and the connecting lines to the cable car that run from Acevedo Station to the Barrio Santo Domingo Savio up on the valley wall.
Buses are frequent and prevalent and have their destinations plastered on the front windscreen.
Taxis are inexpensive and efficient.
