Hidden from the street by potted palms, the Pacifico is a decidedly upmarket establishment specialising in seafood. It sets out to be elegant and classy and delivers on both fronts. This is an ideal place for a romantic dinner. Try the Cazuela del Pacifico that includes shrimp, squid, clams, crab, paingua clam and cocunut. Otherwise settle for something less daunting and try the Guiso de Piangua, a local dish from the southwest made from clams harvested from the roots of mangroves.
