El Canelazo

Just a block or so from the Parque del Perro and its pricey restaurants one can find cheap family-run establishments specializing in homecooked set meals. Here at El Canelazo the menu changes daily but you can be sure to fill up on a soup as a starter and a healthy main course for $2.25. Expect grilled chicken breast or pork chop preceded by plantain soup.
