Catching a fútbol game in any city in Colombia is nothing short of a religious experience. Hordes flock to the stadiums, screaming furious chants at the opposition while voicing praise on their side. Cali has two teams that call the Estadio Pascual Guerrero home. America de Cali (red) and Deportivo Cali (green) have their tribes of supporters—for your safety do not get the two confused! Perhaps the most extreme fútbol experience you can have is to go to a local game between the two bitter city rivals. You are advised to go with someone knowledgeable, since more than 40,000 fans show up to these games.
