La Matraca is a salsoteca of longstanding tradition of playing "salsa dura" but also cuban son and bolero. On Sundays the place changes somewhat and offers revellers a taste of Tango. Interestingly the 2007 world Tango champions are themselves Caleños further promoting Cali as a destination for dance-loving partiers.
