Chipichape, in the north, is currently “THE” mall of choice. By day, shoppers hoard the place in search of the latest bargain or to people watch on one of the benches on its several floors filled with stores. Chipichape’s eateries are popular at lunchtime. Throughout the day, caleños come to watch a movie at one of the 12 screens in house. Come nighttime, they head to the cool reggae and pop bar or other hip nightspots to salsa until late.
