Capilla de la Inmaculada

Location:
Centro, Cali, Colombia

Other Activity Types:
Church

By Brenda Yun

Built in 1762, the Capilla de la Inmaculada has a modern and modest interior, but is worth a quick peek because it remains the church of choice at midday. This narrow and long chapel is an homage to Virgin Mary (Virgen Maria), who solemnly stands at the front altar. The interior is accented with seven arcs and several white columns with a baby blue and gold trim.

Mass is held at 6:30 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 3:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m., and 8:30 p.m.
