By Brenda Yun

The Museo de Arte Colonial contains pottery and pre-colonial relics and is housed in the convent of La Merced church. Built in 1545, this is the oldest church in Cali. The church is a well-preserved, white, colonial-style building, which is a really nice contrast to the uglier city buildings in the neighborhood.
