Buga
Buga is another world from the busy salsa dancing streets of Calí only 80 kilometers away. One of the oldest cities in Colombia, Buga was founded by the Spanish in 1555, then called Guadalajara de Buga. This medium sized city is famous for the Basilica del Señor de los Milagros which is home to the gold plated El Señor de los Milagros (the lord of miracles). This church attracts thousands of visitors and pilgrims every year who come to pray for miracles.
