Should you find yourself downtown in the Centro of Cali there's a few possible reasons that you have reached this point. You are lost, you are trying to find an information center or you are in need of a culture fix. If the latter is true, read on!
A good place to start is the Teatro Municipal Enrique Buenaventura (Calle 6 with Cra 6) that stands imposing and yellow in all its barroque glory.
From here head to the Museo Religioso y Colonial San Francisco (Cra 4 No 6N-117) to see over 350 pieces of priceless religious works of art held within. Your next stop should be the Museo Arqueológico La Merced (Cra 4 No 6-59) and then the short stroll over to the Museo de Oro Calima (Cra 4 No 7-14).
Should you tire of the noise and pollution of the centro then head towards the river and the north to the Museo de Arte Moderno La Tertulia.
