Pereira, Colombia
Museum Types:
Cultural, History, Art
The city’s very modern library and cultural center is worth stopping by if only to catch up on current events in the city. The bulletin board on the first floor will tell you the latest temporary exhibits, afternoon lectures, educational talks, or evening concerts that are held on site. The third floor has a good collection of Colombian magazines, newspapers, and literature that, if you know Spanish well enough, could prove to be an afternoon well spent. The third floor also has a nice reading area with desks and a pleasant outdoor terrace with tables and chairs that visitors are encouraged to use.
