Transportation , Getting around
With the opening of Armenia's new and modern pedestrian mall running through the center of the city, getting around by foot is the best option. Yellow taxis buzz around town at all hours and are ready to pick you up and take you to your destination should you need one (minimum day $1.50, night $2.50). Red "Tinto" buses run along Armenia's main thoroughfares for $0.75 per ride, and are the best transportation option if you plan to visit the Museo del Oro Quimbaya, to the north of the city.
