Los Yarumos Ecological Park

Situated in the city’s surrounding cloud forest is Los Yarumos Ecological Park, a naturally green and lush forest reserve where you can enjoy hikes on trails and lovely views of the countryside. The park is home to nearly 30 species of birds and hundreds of endemic flowers and trees. Visitors can even participate in extreme sports, such as rock climbing, canopy or rappelling. Outdoor concerts or cinema functions are held on weekends in the parks amphitheater. While you’re there, you might as well take a quick peek at the park library and natural history museum, too.
