Getting To and Away

Manizales is the perfect stopover between Bogotá and Medellín, which are both five hours away. Buses to Pereira (1 hr, $4.50) and onward to Armenia (2 hr, $9) and Cali (5 hr, $15) leave every 15 minutes. The road to Manizales is very curvy, so you will be much more comfortable riding in a bigger bus rather than a van or colectivo (smaller bus).
