The city’s very modern library and cultural center is worth stopping by if only to catch up on current events in the city. The bulletin board on the first floor will tell you the latest temporary exhibits, afternoon lectures, educational talks or evening concerts held on-site. The third floor has a good collection of Colombian magazines, newspapers and literature, which, if you’re Spanish is good enough, could prove to be an afternoon well spent. The third floor also has a nice reading area with desks, and a pleasant outdoor terrace with tables and chairs that visitors are encouraged to use.
