Pereira Services

There are two tourism offices in Pereira that are just two blocks from one another. The Fomento del Turismo, located in the big mall on Calle 17 and Carrera 9, has brochures and maps to pick and choose from, but no office attendant. The other office is located in the city’s government building two blocks down the hill where people behind desks can help you make local calls to arrange accommodations or tours.

There are a plethora of pharmacies, banks, ATM’s and internet cafés on the main Plaza Bolívar, but the main hospital and medical clinics are located just outside of the city’s center by the bus terminal.
