Coming to Salento requires that you take a deep breath of fresh mountain air and enjoy the peace and tranquility of a slow-paced lifestyle. The things to see and do in Salento are the outdoors. Take a walk, ride a horse, climb a mountain. There are beautiful natural sights within arm’s reach. Cocora Valley, with its diverse cloud forest and river running through it, is a must-see. So too, is the town’s Mirador. Browse the artisan stores on Calle de Real on the way to the stairs that will take you up the hill.
