Getting around

By Brenda Yun

Salento is a very small town and is manageable by foot. You could always try to hitch a ride from one end to the other, but there are no local buses or taxis. If you'd like to visit the restaurants down by the river, you can hop on any bus heading out of town. The road to Salento is windy and cars zoom by at an alarming rate, so it's best to travel out of town by bus even if you're just going down the hill.
