Getting Around

Salento is a very small town, easily manageable by foot. There are no local buses or taxis, but you can hitch a ride from one end to the other if need be. If you’d like to visit the restaurants down by the river, hop on any bus heading out of town. The road to Salento is windy, and cars zoom by at an alarming rate, so it’s best to travel out of town by bus even if you’re just going down the hill.
