Hostería Hakuna Matata

This private lodge, just 10 kilometers from Tena, rests along the shores of the crystalline Rio Inchillaqui.  Sensibly located between the Andes and the Amazon, the lodge is free from tropical diseases, providing guests a safe environment to freely explore the 150-hectare tropical playground.  This eco-friendly retreat works hard to respect the natural beauty and culture that surrounds it, from conservation/reforestation efforts to projects supporting the local Quechua community.

The 32-guest hostería offers three accommodations: Cabañas Hakuna Matata, Hakuna Lodge, or the luxury Hakuna Supreme.  All rooms include hot water, private terrace and private bath, and breakfast is included.  Customized jungle-trip packages are also available to suit guests’ budgets, time and interests.
