Yarina Lodge is an eco-lodge set in the wilds of the Amazonian jungle near Yasuni National Park, in the zone reserved for indigenous Quichuas. The lodge was started in 2000 as an attempt to alert both foreigners and Ecuadorians to the cause of environmentalism in the Amazon. The park is now one of the most important environmental centers in the area, in conjunction with Yuturi Conservation Group and San Carlos Foundation.
Yarina Lodge contains 24 huts for travelers (single, double, triple and quadruple accommodations), all complete with private bathrooms and showers. The huts are constructed with materials native to the area. The lodge offers a plethora of activities - whether you’re interested in fishing for piranhas or visiting a local shaman, you can certainly do it here.
