Parrilladas Argentinas, on the corner of Cuenca and Inés, is a good option for dinner. Its menu is limited to steaks and pork chops, nevertheless, the food is surprisingly good. Emerald Forest Blues Bar, on Calle Espejo between Napo and Amazonas, makes a good choice for a sandwich and a beer. There is also Rock Café, on García Moreno between Napo and Amazonas, which is bright and clean and popular among backpackers.
