Tropical Ecological Adventures

Tropical Ecological Adventures offer tours to experience life with a Huaorani tribe, staying in tents close to the community. The company has been offering this experience since 1994, and there are chances to learn about the Huaorani culture and their practical and spiritual relationship with the forest. Participants can also understand the medicinal properties of plants and learn about the traditional handicrafts that are practised. The experience lasts for six days and starts and ends in Quito. The price of $900 per person includes meals, activities, guides and community entrance costs. This price is based on four travelers.
