Cabañas del Valle

The Cabañas del Valle, just on the outskirts of Macas, are ideal for groups, large families or events. The nine functional cabins, all with private bathrooms, hot water and TVs, can accommodate between three and six people. Choose carefully, though, since the mattresses range from spongy to hard; the rooms at the rear of the building have wooden floors and are more cheerful. There is a swimming pool and a large restaurant area, as well as slides and a ping-pong table. Judy and Marcelo, the friendly owners, also run a travel agency which organizes rafting and hiking trips, as well as visits to the nearby Shuar communities.
