Transportation

By Paula Newton

It is possible to fly to Macas, a trip that takes 45 minutes. Tame offer flights every day except Saturday at 09:30 in the morning, arriving at 10:15. The return journey leaves on the same days at 17:00 and is the same duration. Buses run to Quito a couple of times per day and the journey takes around ten hours. Buses also run to nearby towns such as Sucúa, and some buses head to other parts of the Oriente such as Puyo and Tena.
