Don’t be put off by the neon signs and annoying TV screens, this restaurant/ice-cream-parlor is a great place to satisfy any sugar craving. If you can muster the patience for the excruciatingly slow and despairingly clumsy service, the diner at the back serves decent pollo a la plancha, (but avoid the lasagnas, obviously industrially-made and served in an aluminum dish which ruins the taste), and a selection of sweet pancakes and ice-cream sundaes so wide that the desserts menu unfolds like a roadmap. For a lighter (and faster) treat, head to the Tutto Freddo counter, which offers a dozen different flavors of helados, including “quita pena”, a rum and raisin cream.
