La Cascada Latas

If you board a bus headed towards Tena from Misuahallí and ask the driver to drop you off at the Camino de las Cascadas (approximately 15 mins outside of Misuahallí and .25 fare depending on the mood of the driver) you'll find yourself on your way to see a pretty waterfall, nice picnic areas and a little swimming hole. The cost is $2.00 and its a 40-minute hike to the actual falls. Its very slick and muddy at spots so wear good shoes and be sure to go with someone. You will also find yourself wading through the river. The trail can be hard to pinpoint at points and you don't want to find yourself alone and lost in the jungle.
