Misahuallà Hotels
Misahualli is a popular spot for tourists visiting the Amazon because it is fairly accessible from Quito. The town itself isn't much to see, but there are playful monkeys everywhere, which makes any place on earth significantly better. Accommodations are fairly modest, but you can find a clean room with air conditioning and hot water for about $15. There's not much to splurge on in Misahualli; hotels aren't nearly as luxurious as those found in larger cities. But if you're on a budget and have reasonable standards, you'll be fine.
