This cheery hostel is on the south side of the main road into MisahuallÃ. It is just one block from the community's main square. Rooms are bright with colorful (though peeling) walls and mismatched blankets. The hostel has 35 beds total: six doubles, three triples, four matrimonials and the rest are quads. Each room has a private bathroom, hot water, television and fans. There are areas for lounging outside of the rooms, and there is a restaurant that is open when large groups are on-site. In the evening, guests can partake in karaoke in the bar downstairs while drinking cocktails and imported liquors. Hostal Clarke also has its own licensed travel agency that can set up jungle tours, visits with nearby Quichua tribes or shamans, rafting, tubing, motor canoe rides and more.
