Hostal el Paisano could almost be deemed luxurious jungle standards. It is located just a block off the Parque Central and is clean and fresh. The hostal has a very open-air feel about it with rooms opening onto an outdoor patio. Generally quiet, the hostal gets noisy when the community's herd of playful monkeys scampers across the tin roof and takes turns pushing each other down the roof. The hostal can accommodate 37 people in double and triple accomodation. Each room has mosquito nets and a sparkling private bathroom with hot water. There is a restaurant on-site serving all meals for cheap prices.

Missions Trip

I recently stayed at Hostal el Paisano, and it was amazing. I went with my church on a missions trip and even though our group was a rowdy bunch of teens, the staff was incredibly nice. The food exceeded my expectations. I would recommend Hostal el Paisano to any church looking to go on a missions trip in the jungle of Ecuador.
