The majority of Tena's eateries are located near the footbridge over the river.  Most commonly, you will find Ecuadorian fare, fried meat, pizza and rice- lots of rice. The restaurants cater to travelers who are have worked up a hearty appetite on the river or in the jungle and prices are cheap for the adventurists.  Don't expect to find upper class restaurants in Tena, this is a thrill seeker's town with an appetite for adventure - not award-winning cuisine. That said, food is decent and you'll have no problem refueling for tomorrow's activities.
