Chances are good that if you have ended up in Tena, you are interested in venturing into the jungle. You can do this by canoe, raft, kayak, on foot, pickup, bus or hitchhiking and there is no shortage of guides willing to take you. It's your responsibility to weed through the travel agencies to find the perfect trip for you lead by certified guides. Be sure to inquire about certifications. Don't be afraid to compare excursions, ask for reviews other travelers have left and be sure to agree on what exactly is to be provided prior to the trip. The jungle is an incredible place and with a little research, you will take more than a few unbelievable memories home with you.
