Founded by Gary Dent, an Irish transplant who has called Ecuador home for over ten years, River People Rafting provides exhilarating day and multi-day trips into the jungle for rafting, hiking, kayaking, fun and food. All guides are certified and bilingual, and are experts on all the twists and turns of Ecuador's wildest rivers. Day trips cost around $65 per person per day. They also offer a multi-day kayaking school. Day trips can be extended with overnight stays at the Yacuñambi cabins. Additional activities include wilderness hikes, horseback riding, bike riding, mountain climbing, and visits with indigenous people.
