Founded by Gary Dent, an Irish transplant who has called Ecuador home for over ten years, River People Rafting provides exhilirating day and multi-day trips into the jungle for rafting, hiking, kayaking, fun and great food. All guides are certified and bilingual, as well as experts on the twists and turns of Ecuador's wildest rivers. Day trips cost around $65pp per day, and they also offer a multi-day kayak school. The day trips can be extended with overnight stays at the Yacuñambi cabins.
Additional activities include wilderness hikes, horseback riding, bike riding, mountain climbing, and visits with indigenous people.
