Owner‘s Description
Step inside El Jardin, and it becomes clear that the hotel has tried to achieve a tropical yet sophisticated ambiance. Although this can be a hard feat to accomplish, this place seems to have hit it spot on. The rooms are large with dark wood walls and simple, yet nice, linens. There is a lovely balcony with hammocks, which serve as a great place for a nap or to enjoy a good book. There is a restaurant on-site, and internet is offered free to guests at the hotel.

Delightful
100%Absolutely beautiful grounds --like entering a garden of Eden! We had lunch on the terrace, dinner under a thatched roof and breakfast in the cozy dining room. There was five of us in three rooms and we could gather comfortably to relax on the balcony where there are lots of chairs and hammocks. El Jardin was the most charming hotel we stayed in, and that says a lot because we found Ecuador's hostels to be rich in charm.
