Traveler Reviews of Santa Lucia

Santa Lucia Cloudforest Reserve

There was a beautiful mother nature at her best environment, peaceful surroundings, awesome views. It was not easy to get to but a worthwhile reward awaits you.

Santa Lucia Lodge

This eco-lodge is located in a beautiful remote setting with only the sounds of nature. It has composting toilets, organic home-grown vegetables, and solar heated showers, but no electricity (candles at night). It sounds very primitive but it is actually very comfortable! It has a great complex of trails and incredible birds and plants. The Cock-of-the-rock lek is amazing! The staff is very nice, the guides knowledgeable, and the food very healthy and excellent. It is not recommended for people who don't like moderate walking; that's about all I could say that is anything but positive. A memorable experience!
