Casa De Montalvo - Museum Ambato - Ecuador

The birthplace of one of Ambato's most distinguished authors, Juan Montalvo, a controversial novelist and essayist who was born in 1832, is also his resting place; his coffin is displayed to the public on a tiered platform. The museum aims to promote Montalvo through a display of personal effects, photos and manuscripts.
