From the Baños bus terminal: continue down the main road towards Puyo for approx. 800m until you get to Barrio San Vicente. Turn left off main road to enter Barrio Can Vicente. Continue for 300m and you will reach a stone/dirt road (El Camino Real).

Amazing Place! Highly recommended!

Our group loved La Casa Verde!  We ended up staying two additional nights.  Not only is it economical but clean and beautifully done.  The owners have thought of everything and are so incredibly accommodating.  The price includes a great breakfast, complete with fresh fruit and juice, yogurt, breads, and yes, real coffee (amazingly a hard to find in Ecuador)!  Also on the menu are homemade stews, soups, garlic bread and there is a fridge stocked with beer. They have focused on sustainability and created a green building,  which is incredible!  I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a beautiful spot and a great night's sleep (they have great mattresses).  If you get there by bus I recommend taking a taxi to the hotel. Once you are there it is easy to catch the bus into town but a little tricky to find the first time.

Best place in Banos

The location is sublime, tranquil but not too far out of town. The owners are amazing, really friendly, helpful and great to talk to. There's a good book and DVD collection, although looking out the window at the garden, river and valley is just as good. Very clean and felt just like home.
