beatifull,quiet, hotel volcano

We stayed in Banos for three nights and stayed here based on Trip Advisor reviews. We were so glad that we did! We did not make a reservation before arriving and the only room left was the room with a view of the waterfall. So worth it! There was nothing more relaxing than sitting out on our deck, at our table and listening to the waterfall. There was a light on the terrace so you are able to sit out at night, watch the fog roll in, all the while protected with the awning in case it started to rain. Absolutely beautiful! As someone else commented, it is about a five or ten minute walk to the center so you are totally removed from the hustle and bustle. The room was comfortable, and clean. Water pressure is a little low in the shower but we found this to be true no matter where we were in Ecuador - but the hotel always had hot water. Breakfast was delicious and included in the price (we paid $61 a night for the view/fireplace/all taxes/breakfast included). Try the hot coffee because it is delicious. Our first morning we had the huevos rancheros and the second morning we both had pancakes. Pancakes came with granola, yogurt, and fruit - so much food. We never had to eat lunch. We met the owner while we were there and he was very accommodating. He let us call our next hotel to make a reservation from his phone, and let us borrow his guide book to go make photo copies in town. The rest of the staff was wonderful and friendly. Would absolutely recommend this place!

Wonderful hotel

Volcano hotel is wonderful, with a view to the waterfall from Banos city.

Beatiful hotel volcano

Volcano is a little place, but is very clean and comfortable. You can immmerse in many activities in the city of Baños. I recomend the tour of waterfalls.

The BEST in Banos!

We stayed at the Volcano for 2 days last week, (July '06). There were 7 of us and we were the only guests there. The owners treat us like kings. We did not arrive until about 10PM and they served us an amazing dinner, anything we wanted. The rooms were very clean and very comfortable. We could not complain about anything. We could walk to anywhere we wanted or needed to go and felt safe. I would go back in a second. I would any one to stay there.
