Not to be confused with Casa Hood, this café is a small restaurant next to Parque Central. With a great selection of vegetarian dishes, it is a welcome change from the many merienda and pizza places around Baños. The fruit salads are great, too.
The owners speak English, so ask them for tips for your visit in the city. The restaurant is always busy, but be advised that it is closed on Tuesdays.

Loved it
The owner and her daughter became very close friends during my stay in baños. The restaurant is very popular and often packed. It is the perfect place for a meal, juice or a glass of wine. There is also a book exchange. The walls are covered in beautiful paintings, mostly done by a young New York woman who is rumored to travel with only $1 in her pocket and pays her way with her art.
