La Abuela Café is a small café that has a great selection of breakfasts from $1.90 to $2.90. For lunch and dinner, there are simple dishes like salad, sandwiches and pizza, but not much selection for vegetarians. Try the pancakes.

sitting on the balcony was great
75%My trout was good and the coffee as well. I went with a friend but I also think it is a good place to go if you are on your own.
looks ok, but it's not
0%The only place in town that advertised llapingachos on the menu, El Café de la Abuela seemed like a nice enough place, but as soon as we sat down and got greasy menus thrown at us by the waitress, it became clear this place was going to be a bad choice. The bathroom is by far the worst I've seen in Baños and the food was of very low quality.
