looks ok, but it's not

The only place in town that advertised llapingachos on the menu, El Café de la Abuela seemed like a nice enough place, but as soon as we sat down and got greasy menus thrown at us by the waitress, it became clear this place was going to be a bad choice. The bathroom is by far the worst I've seen in Baños and the food was of very low quality.

sitting on the balcony was great

My trout was good and the coffee as well. I went with a friend but I also think it is a good place to go if you are on your own.
