Accommodation options in Guaranda are a bit sparse, understandably so since it is not a place that draws a huge amount of tourists. There are a few good options to stay in the town, however. Nothing fancy, but definitely acceptable. They are all priced very reasonably; a private room with a bathroom should run you around ten to fifteen dollars. Beware that if you plan to visit the area during Carnival and do not book ahead, you could end up in being a less then savory hotel.
