Transportation
The bus station in Guaranda is located a little ways away from the main square. It is walkable, but with your gear, it is probably best to get a cab. There are frequent buses to major cities, such as Guayaquil, Quito, Riobamba and Ambato. There is also daily bus service to the nearby village of Salinas. Times, and number of daily buses vary, so best to check ahead of time to ensure there will be a bus to where you need to go.
