Hostal Llullu Llama

Hostal Llullu Llama was once a traditional farmhouse, but recently was converted into a romantic mountain hostal high up in the Ecuadorian Andes. Based on its location, the hostal is a prime spot to start hikes and treks. You can pick up free hiking maps or organize a multi-day tour. You can also head out to nearby indigenous markets and communities, check out hidden valley trails or just enjoy the local flora and fauna—including orchids and hummingbirds. The hostal prepares hearty three-course meals, including a healthy breakfast to start the day. The hot showers and woodstove are the perfect way to warm up and get rid of that Andean chill.

Getting There:
From the Latacunga bus station take the Vivero bus, which runs everyday at 1 p.m., except for Saturday's, on which it runs at 11 a.m. and Thursday's (11 a.m. from Saquisili market). A 2 hour trip, this bus will take you directly to Isinlivi.

So fine!

When you picture llullu llama think about this: great views, good books, cosy fireplace, good food, great hikes, friendly hosts, and much more! I wished I had time to stay longer in this beautiful corner on the Quilotoa loop!

Best place to relax!!!

Llullu Llama is great, it is the perfect place to unwind for a few days, you feel like you could stay for weeks and if you are not carefull you will! Food is very nice, also for vegetarians and they have a cute dog!

Don´t miss LLULLU LLAMA!

Hostal LLULLU LLAMA is wonderful! The hosts are really nice and helpful and knowledgeable. The food is delicious, the beds are comfy, the rooms are cozy, the showers are hot and the prices are great. If you like hiking and trekking this can be a perfect base for many day hikes and longer treks onto other small towns. It is a beautiful, relaxing, lovely place to be, don´t miss it!!!!!

Giant Tree Fort

Hostal Llullu Llama should not be missed. It is well worth it to get away from the busy cities and get into the fresh air and use their composting toilet (much more pleasant than it sounds) with a very nice view for doing your business. The showers are always hot and the food is AMAZING. It is run by a new couple who are doing a great job. The atmosphere is very cozy and they offer free info on day hikes and there is no pressure to hire a guide (altough one can be arranged if you wish)like at more touristy places ie. papagayo. Plan to spend a couple of days doing day hikes and sitting around in the the hammock chairs enjoying your favorite book in a beautiful place. Go there now!!!

Wonderfull

Llullu Llama is a lovely hostal with a great athmosphere! Katrien and Jose Luis are really helpfull and cook great food. If you like hiking and relaxing this is the right place for you!
