Hostal Cabañas Quilotoa is a big place run by a very friendly family. Beds in a large dorm are $8 pp, while several smaller rooms go for $10-12 with shared/private bath. Both prices include a typical local dinner and breakfast, cuy (roasted guinea pig) on special nights. A large room downstairs serves as the common room and restaurant to both guests and the family, and also houses a small shop selling local indigenous landscape paintings by the artist/owner.
