Getting to and Away from Zumbahua
There is a frequent bus service from Zumbahua to Latacunga and vice versa. Buses leave from Avenida 5 de Junio in Latacunga (2 1/2 hours, US$2), some of which continue on to Quilotoa and Chugchilan. Transportes Ilinizas also has a frequent service to Saquisili (35 minutes, US$0.50), Chugchilan and Sigchos. If you find yourself in a bind, trucks can be hired from Zumbahua to Quilotoa (about US$15), and Chugchilan (US$35).
