Located only a few blocks from the train station, Montecarlo is a very convenient place to stay. The rooms are comfortable; not the most elegant, but they suffice. There is also a café on site, which is one of the only two in the city that serve a special early bird breakfast on the days the train runs. Rooms run about $12, and the price includes continental breakfast.
