Getting to and Away Riobamba
The bus station is located about 2 km north of El Centro in Riobamba on the street León Borja. It is feasible to walk from the station to the city’s center, but when it's late at night or you have a lot of luggage, you're probably better off to just take a taxi.
There are regular buses from the terminal to Quito (4.5 hours), Guayaquil (5 hours), Cuenca (7 hours), Guaranda (2.5 hours) and Santo Domingo (5.5 hours). As is usual with Ecuador, the fares will run about a dollar per hour.
