Getting to and away from Peguche
Peguche is just a few kilometers from Otavalo and you can walk between the two. Just head north along the Pan-American Highway, in the direction of Ibarra. You will come across signs for Peguche, which is a right turn off the highway. The walk takes about 40 minutes. Alternatively, you can take a bus north, along the Pan-American Highway in the direction of Ibarra, and get off at the turn for Peguche. Taxis will take you from Otavalo for around $3-4.
